Licensed Psychologist

Overview   Forensic Health Services, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of MHM Services, is seeking a full-time licensed clinical psychologist interested in forensic work to join the adult court clinic team in the Northeast Region to cover Haverhill/Lawrence District Court and the surrounding areas.  Court Psychologists are responsible for evaluating mentally ill individuals and individuals with substance use issues brought before the Courts on criminal and/or civil matters in order to determine appropriate dispositions and to refer them to needed services. These Designated Forensic Professionals (or candidates in training) are responsible for fulfilling the statutory obligations of the Department of Mental Health under MGL c. 123 which include, but are not limited to:   Evaluation of the need for Emergency Hospitalization (C.123, s.12e) Competence to Stand Trial and/or Criminal Responsibility Screening Evaluations (c.123, s.15a) Evaluation of the need for Hospitalization of Mentally-Ill Prisoners (c. 123, s.18a) Determination of the Mental Condition of Witnesses (c.123, s.19) Evaluation of the need for Commitment of Substance Abusers (c.123, s.35) Aid in Sentencing Evaluations (c.123, s. 15e) We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package including: Health, dental, life, and vision insurance 401k with company match Generous paid time off Flexible spending account Wellness activitiy subsidy Plus many more... Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
