Job Description:
- Evaluate & treat patients in an efficient & effective manner when immediate care is needed- Must be comfortable assessing pediatrics as young as 6 months old- Must be comfortable in performing procedures in which a local anesthetic may be used- AFC providers conduct annual, sports, school, & pre-employment physicals, & vaccinations, & interpret results from diagnostic services such as labs & x-rays.
Qualifications:
- BE/BC- ER or Urgent Care experience- Willing to consider new grads with prior clinical experience or exposure within an urgent care/ER setting- Must have experience with adult & pediatric patient panel- Current medical licensure in the state of practice- Current DEA number and state-controlled substance certificate, as needed Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
